Fine, I’ll Just Blog My Crazy…

*SPOILER ALERT*  If you did not see last night’s “Scandal”, you may want to skip this post… But it may not even matter since a new episode isn’t coming back until April 25. -_-

After last night’s episode of “Scandal”, creator and Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes basically told fans that she does not make the decision of when the show airs; it’s up to ABC.  The ultimate disrespect came when she put the hash tag “#donttweetmeyourcrazy”.  Ok, Shonda, I won’t tweet you my crazy-I’ll just blog it.  Now, if we, the tried and true, loyal fans can’t come to you with our complaints/concerns about the show, who do we go to?  The cast and crew are always quick to want fans to tweet them during the show when things are good, but when you get some push back and you feel a little pressure, you don’t want to hear from us.  Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.  If you want the good, you have to take the bad, too.   As a friend mentioned last night on Facebook, ABC might not want to get too comfortable spreading these shows out.  You see, one of your competitors has this new show that premiered last night-during the same time as “Scandal”-and it’s also a one hour drama-and I heard it was pretty good.  Two weeks is a long time to get addicted to something new… #IJS  Anywho, onto last night’s show.

At the end of the night, I was so confused.  Who’s the mole?  Who was in Olivia’s apartment?  Who is Jake REALLY working for?  Is Jake really a good guy or is he a dirtbag that can’t be trusted?  Is he even really in the Navy??? (Ok, that’s not a real question-of course he is; he works at the Pentagon and has a uniform.)  What is Fitz’s angle?  Why is he really following Liv?  Why wasn’t Fitz concerned when Cyrus didn’t bat an eye when he told him he killed Verna?  Why didn’t Cyrus lose his mind when Fitz confessed to murder?  Is Charlie working for Jake and Byron from “A Different World”? (Sorry, I don’t know his name on the show.)  See, it’s too much going on.  And I have to wait 20 days to start getting answers to my questions.

So, the moral of today’s post?  ABC is on that bull.  I’ve never EVER heard of a network only showing, on average, 2 episodes per month of a show.  And, correct me if I’m wrong, but I think “Scandal” has got to be THE most popular show on its channel.  And didn’t “Scandal” get picked up for a full season, meaning 22 episodes???  So does this mean the season finale is going to be in July instead of May?  It’s too much.  You all enjoy your weekend; I’ll definitely enjoy mine.  Until next time, I’m just a Southern girl…in the city!
