SILENT AUCTION BENEFITS UPCOMING FUNDRAISER
Benevole, Inc. is hosting “A Black and White Affair: A Tribute to MLK” on Saturday, January 15 at Project 4 Gallery, located at 1353 U Street NW, Suite 302, in Washington. Proceeds from the event will benefit DC Central Kitchen. In addition to the event, Gregory McLellan, a New York based artist, has donated one of his paintings to this fundraiser. The painting, titled “I Will Dematerialize”, is medium oil and enamel on wood panel and is 24” x 84”. Valued at $5,000, the bidding will start at $1,000. The painting will be on display at Project 4 Gallery from Saturday, January 8 at 12 noon until Saturday, January 15 at 6:30 pm, before the commencement of the actual event. Those interested in viewing the painting and bidding will be able to do so during this time. The winning bid and bid winner will be announced during the event on Saturday night.
