I want Nene's dress...

Ok, folks.  I don’t like to talk about people, but I just have to share my thoughts with you guys about Phaedra from last night’s episode of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta“.   If you didn’t watch it, Phaedra had her baby last night.   And as much as she tried to fool everybody, it was announced (by her doctor) that she was 40 weeks.   This whole time Phaedra was playing dumb like she didn’t know how far along she was.  Her pastor mama seemed shocked (in Phaedra’s family, you don’t have babies without being married), and according to some other folks, Apollo, her husband, seemed shocked as well.   So, this leaves people to speculate about what’s really going on.  Based on what I’ve read, Phaedra and Apollo got married in November of 2009.  She gave birth in May of 2010.  Hmmmm…yeah, something ain’t right.  And because I love drama on reality tv (and not in real life), I’m anxious to see if ANY of this will be brought up during future episodes.  Lastly, what mother says “Ewwwww, gross” when she sees her child for the first time.  Phaedra’s maternal instincts have not kicked in, and I actually feel for this little boy.  It seems that Phaedra is more concerned with being fly and pampered than being a mother to her son. 

Dr. Tiy-E, Sheree’s new squeeze, was getting GRILLED by everyone during Sheree’s Spades tournament.  (Since Spades is big in the African-American community-according to Sheree-is that why Kim was MIA???)  NeNe, being messy, snubbed Dr. Tiy-E when she met him.  As NeNe recalled there was a big scandal surrounding Dr. Tiy-E and the fact he wasn’t a real doctor, she went around and told everybody at the party.  Kandi also remembered the scandal when he was on a radio station.  All of this led to Dr. Tiy-E being subjected to the Spanish Inquisition from all of the guests at Sheree’s party; he got the worst from NeNe, Kandi, and Kandi’s mom.  Needless to say, I’m anxiously awaiting Sunday’s episode.
