Yeah, I really don’t like it when I people lie.  I really want to say, “I hate liars”, but my mother taught me not to hate people, but to hate their actions.  So I’ll say “I hate when people lie.”  Especially if you intentionally lie…like sit up in my face, look me in my eye, and lie.  Don’t you know that if you lie I will NEVER be able to trust you again???  Do you even care?  Now, I know some people may say a little white lie, like “Oh, yeah girl, that dress looks cute on you.” -_- But when you tell me, “Yeah, I’m gonna meet you at the movies at 7 o’clock”, and you have no intention of meeting me there, that’s a problem. (Just for the record, I’ve never had anyone stand me up at the movies, but you guys get my drift.)

Now, this Southern Girl is not perfect by any means, but when I tell people I’m going to do something, I do it.  Now, if plans change or something happens that alters my plan to do what I said I was going to do, I will call/text/e-mail that person (in a timely fashion) to let them know that plans changed.  I ask for the same consideration.  Once you’ve shown me you can’t be trustworthy that’s pretty much it for you and me-it’s gonna take a helluva lot to get me to trust you at your word again.  And that goes for men and women.  Friends, daters, family, whatever.  I would have to say lying is just a really big pet peeve.
